Ludo has been active as a private teacher and workshop instructor since 1993. He is the founder and director of the Shutiri Yarbé Cultural Association, which was granted official cultural-interest status by the Costa Rican government in 1999, and the CRmusica Music Academy, which was officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in 1999. He has been leading workshops at the Academy since 1996, and has performed and taught on most of the country’s television stations.
 
Ludo’s teaching method focuses on stimulating creativity through composition, improvisation and the development of arranging skills.
His specialties include modal and chromatic theory, polyrhythm, polymeter and non-traditional meters.
